ASB Day 1 – College Tour & Outreach Participants will receive a guided College Tour by the NSU Department of Admissions. Following the tour participants will have the opportunity to outreach to College students about the dangers of underage drinking and risks of compulsive gambling.

ASB Day 2 – Honor a Veteran In collaboration with United Way’s Mission United and the Deliver The Dream Foundation participants will be creating welcome kits for post 9/11 combat Veterans and their families who will be participating in the Deliver The Dream Family Retreat.

Time: 6PM - 8PM

ASB Day 3 – Professional Networking & Empowerment BYC members will enjoy an evening alongside United Way’s Young Leaders Society members who will be educating BYC about different career fields/skills and job preparedness. This event will start with a “Speed-dating” style networking/educational opportunity and will conclude with a panel discussion.

ASB Day 4 – #Springsgiving Flagler Village Farms is an urban agricultural garden near Sistrunk Blvd. Participants will be involved in daily farming tasks(pulling weeds, planting, harvesting) and any harvest they reap will be donated to a needy population (ex: homeless)

April 14th, 2017

Time: 9:30AM - 1:30PM

ASB Day 5 – Beach Clean-Up Participants will receive a presentation from a Park Ranger on the rich history of Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson Beach and the importance of a beach clean-up. They will then follow Ranger instructions on cleaning up the beach and the event will conclude with a picnic lunch in a beach pavilion.
